Primary schools across Chesterfield are searching for ambitious and dedicated teaching assistant's to support children with their learning and to ensure a positive and happy environment for them to thrive in.
The clients that we are working with boast lovely rural settings with great outdoor space. The staff all work to a team ethos and they work to help build and support each other.
What would working as a teaching assistant entail?
* Working hours of 8.15am to 3.45pm
* Supporting children on both a 1:1 and group basis
* Implementing creative ideas to bring children on course
* Having knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
* Adhering to the school safeguarding policy and ensuring the safety of all pupils in your care
* Adhering to the school behaviour policy
What do you need to become a teaching assistant with us?
* Experience supporting children within a primary classroom setting
* A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Desireable)
* An enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process a new one
* A 'can do' attitude
* A personable and nurturing approach
