Join an established MSP as a 2nd Line IT Support Technician and help customers all over the UK and abroad. The company values high levels of customer service, technical competence and strives to remove the hassle of IT.Working in the office from Kingston upon Thames as well as at home, you'll join a small, close-knit team based in the UK and Europe.THE 2ND LINE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN ROLE:You'll be part of a team that supports each other and has time of focus on each customer's request. This includes:
* Answering incoming calls, creating and managing tickets
* Troubleshooting and solve 2nd line support issues, escalating when needed
* Working on internal projects and monitoring customer service systems
* Administration - complete weekly timesheets, update technical documentation
* Attend fortnightly and monthly technical team meetings.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Experience in 2nd line support
* Ideally worked in an MSP
* Solid understanding of IT systems, networking, and infrastructure.
* Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Azure AD
Desirable:
1. Experience with PSA and monitoring products such as Autotask and N-able
2. Experience with Remote access tools, e.g. Splashtop
3. Knowledge of scripting and task automation using PowerShell
4. Relevant industry qualification (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA)
