HSE Risk Assessor
An opportunity has become available for a home-based HSE Risk Assessor (Ideally located near either Manchester or Birmingham) to conduct compliance audits in line with the requirements of ISO and British standards of Fire, Health & Safety risks and Environmental aspects.
* Conduct internal Fire, Health & Safety and Environmental audits/risk assessments at all sites within scope in accordance with the audit schedule.
* Carry out all risk assessments in line with best practice and in accordance with legal requirements.
* Facilitate external audits with certification bodies in accordance with UKAS requirements.
* The ability to conduct and provide training as required.
* Provide advice and guidance as appropriate, whilst undertaking assessments and audits.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements.
* Ensure identified non-conformities are progressed to satisfactory conclusions.
* Develop relationships with clients, teams and suppliers to harness innovation, and look at future practices, technology and trends to influence service delivery. Work with the team in identifying root causes, and working collaboratively in continuous improvement initiatives.
Level of Experience / Certifications
* Minimum 2 years experience of working in a similar role in Real Estate or Facilities Management sector would be desirable
* Clean Driving Licence and use of own vehicle to attend sites for assessment
