Great opportunity to work as a Lead Process Engineer (Topsides) for an E&P Company on a major greenfield offshore natural gas project.
The role will manage the delivery and is owner of the Topsides contract for the Shallow Water Platform, with full responsibility for the results of the team including effective integration with the overall project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensures together with the Lead Process Engineer that the process design meets the required product delivery specification(s) at battery limits, and that the utility design meets the practical needs of the facility, incorporating the design margins and availability targets.
* Working with Lead Process Engineer to ensure that company process engineering expertise is continually present at HAZID, HAZOP, SIL Reviews, Alarm Management Reviews, etc.
* Attend any testing of complex packages such as ICSS or TEG Regen package
* Provide input to the commissioning and start-up teams as necessary.
* Provide technical expertise as required for the process simulation model and process twin.
* Participate in audits as required.
* Actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.
* Self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments
* Expert knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of offshore GOSP Process engineering methodologies, software systems, and design practices as they relate to FEED, Detail Design, Construction, Commissioning, and plant Start-up
Minimum Requirements:
Education: BSc / MSc within relevant engineering discipline.
Relevant professional experience: > 12 years of total work experience
> 10 years of oil and gas industry experience
> 5 years of experience as Process Engineer on a mega project
This is a Direct Hire position, based between UK / Europe, with an attractive expat package available for the right candidate, including a net salary + allowances. The role will be expected to commute to Europe most weeks, with flexibility to work remotely in the UK on the other days.
