This role will see you leading the management of the flagship assets our client operate, reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for managing this key Asset to deliver strategic KPI's and deliverables. Metrics includes the development, evolution and delivery of Short and Long Term Plans to ensure the successful economic recovery of the asset thus meeting the Health, Safety, Environmental and Net Zero obligations.
As the Asset Manager you will be responsible for:
* Role-model compliance within the relevant HSSE policy, ensuring all activities are planned and conducted in a compliant manner, including management of Major Accident Hazard risks and compliance with HSE safety case obligations and performance standards.
* Ensure the identification of critical asset business risks and the preparation of risk mitigation and contingency plans for the asset.
* Manage the team to produce results through effective supervision, coaching and leadership.
* Readily accept accountability and hold others accountable as per their specific job descriptions and delegation of authority.
* Manage the team in order to deliver budgeted outputs and costs including Opex, Capex and Abex. Effectively manage resources within your control, minimising waste, and risk, and raise potential deviations as soon as they are identified.
* Manage all asset activities in line with business planning and budgeting cycles.
* Responsible for delivery of the asset annual scorecard including HSE, Production and Financial commitments.
* Ensure appropriate and timely investigation into all HSSE and production loss events, act as case owner where required, ensuring appropriate root causes and effective corrective actions are identified to prevent reoccurrence and ensure a continuous improvement methodology at all times.
* Responsible for short and long term asset and field development planning.
* Accountable for compliance with Regulatory submissions, Licence commitments, OGA Stewardship Expectations and Commercial Agreements.
* Liaise closely with the functional managers including but not limited to the HSSE Manager, PSCM Manager, Joint Venture Manager, Resource Development Manager, Financial & Planning Manager, Engineering & Asset Integrity Manager.
Given your background having worked in a similar role, you will have detailed experience in ensuring all relevant HSE metrics and policies are adhered to at all times. You will be familiar with the management of the following:
Code of Conduct and policies, including the policies on HSE, Risk Management and Major Hazards, aware of all associated risks for People, the Environment, Assets and Reputation (PEAR);
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following attributes:
Detailed experience of leading teams across multiple disciplines, and the ability to understand and interact effectively with diverse groups and operations, both onshore and offshore.
Being an effective communicator and remaining calm under pressure as well as being capable of motivating and fully utilising the capabilities of team members and collaborating with other functions / key contractors to achieve the asset deliverables.
Being able to competently develop short and long term strategic plans for the asset and coordinate the execution of activities and prioritise as required.
Continuous Improvement focused, able to identify opportunities to remove waste and streamline processes to deliver value across your area of the business. Comfortable in taking responsibility and making prudent decisions that will impact the asset performance and direct the actions of others.
Capable of establishing and controlling both operational and capital budgets.
