Job Description
The Head of HR will be responsible for:
* Oversee HR department operations, developing and implementing robust HR strategies.
* Promote the values and mission within the organisation, ensuring employee voices are heard.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR policies with business objectives.
* Handle HR budget management.
* Support the HR Advisor's continued development.
The majority of the work in this role will be strategic and project focused, but we're looking for someone who also doesn't mind rolling their sleeves up and getting involved in some of the operational, day-to-day activities as well!
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of HR should have:
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the not-for-profit sector but this is absolutely not a necessity.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, particularly those pertaining to safeguarding
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* A level 7 CIPD.
* The ability to work out of the Luton office 2 days per week, including Thursdays.

* A salary of £50,000 per anum
