What youll do
The Senior Tax Manager - Transformation will play a critical role in Vodafones ambitious transformation journey, providing tax support for a range of high-profile projects aimed at simplifying the organisation, reducing its complexity, and driving competitiveness. The role reports to the Head of International Tax within the Group Tax team, and will work closely with Vodafones cross-functional Transformation team. The individual will act as the main tax point of contact for the Transformation team, prioritising and co-ordinating tax support across the full suite of projects.
* Transformation projects - acting as a key point of contact for the Transformation team, co-ordinating tax support across all projects and ensuring solutions reached are compliant from a tax perspective whist achieving their commercial objectives
* Advisory work - advising and recommending tax workable solutions to transformation challenges to achieve commercial outcomes
* Tax documentation & compliance - ensuring creation and retention of necessary documentation to comply with corporate tax and transfer pricing requirements to defend against any potential tax authority challenges
* Tax systems & technology - identifying changes to systems, processes and approaches to tax matters as a result of experience on projects
Who you are
* ACA or CTA qualified, or equivalent
* Over 5 years post qualified experience in tax roles
* Tax advisor with at least 8 years experience either within an advisory firm or a large MNC
* Experience of transfer pricing and international tax issues
* Exposure to tax dispute management and resolution of transfer pricing matters
