Monteith's is a Scottish restaurant on Edinburgh's Royal Mile renowned for great quality Seasonal produce. With an excellent reputation in the city and beyond, we are a busy restaurant recruiting for a Chef De Partie to join our already established fantastic team.

We offer candidates excellent base rates + TRONC and Cash gratuities. Averages extra £5-6 per hour.
The main duties of the role are
* Ensuring the smooth delivery of food service and preparation within the kitchen
* Stock Rotation & keeping the kitchen organised
* Running their own section & working with high quality food
* Maintaining compliance checks in the Kitchen
* Documentation & Safe preparation of Allergens within the kitchen
Experience in 5\* Restaurants is preferable as is an eye for detail, the drive & ambition to improve the customer feedback & experience and food quality. Cooking from scratch experience only as we use the finest Scottish Ingredients to create satisfying flavour combinations to entice our customers back again & again.
Level 3 Food Hygiene or equivalent is also desirable but not essential as we believe in training and developing our employees and showing them the same commitment and respect to their careers that they show to us.
