Role Overview
The Social Media Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence and engaging with our community across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing our social media strategy, creating original content, analysing performance metrics, and managing community interactions. This role requires a proactive and creative approach, with an ability to adapt to new trends and collaborate across teams.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms, aligning with our brand goals.
* Create and curate original content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
* Monitor and analyse social media metrics, providing insights and reports to guide strategy adjustments.
* Source and engage with global influencers, building relationships to expand our brand reach.
* Manage all aspects of community engagement, responding to comments and messages promptly.
* Identify emerging trends in the beauty industry and implement them to keep our social media presence fresh and engaging.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and edit assets such as email newsletters, product presentations, and marketing materials.
* Drive engagement on our Instagram and other social platforms, maintaining our unique voice within the beauty industry.
* Provide creative direction for fun and engaging social media campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in a variety of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok,
Twitter, and LinkedIn.
* Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in social media management.
* Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign, for creating and editing visual content.
* Experience in photo editing and graphic design, with the ability to create visually appealing and on-brand social media assets.
* Previous experience in the beauty industry or a related field is preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
* Willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
