As Transport Manager your role will be to lead, plan and manage the Transport Department including routing, forecasting, driver training & development, driver management, compliance, fleet maintenance and other Transport functions.

* Responsible for ensuring compliance is met and plans are in place to address areas of concern
* To ensure all legal requirements relating to Food Safety and Health and Safety are met.

* Responsible for the complete cycle of people management.
Who we’re looking for
* Transport Manager CPC qualification (essential)
* Proven Management experience within a Transport environment
* Working knowledge regarding drivers' hours and working time directive as set by DVLA and DVSA
* Flexibility to adjust to varying hours according to the needs of the business
* Strong people management skills
* Ability to work smart in a fast-paced logistics environment
* Natural leader and relationship builder with excellent communication skills

Salary: 38,000 – 42,093 base salary dependent on experience
