Raytec require a Business Development Manager to grow sales of our market leading Hazardous Area Lighting portfolio. The candidate will manage our sales relationships in the Middle-East and South-East Asia to achieve mutually profitable long-term relationships
Purpose of the Job
* Grow sales of Raytec's hazardous area and heavy industrial lighting products within the territory (Middle-East and South-East Asia)
* Build mutually profitable long-term relationships with our existing distributors through effective Key Account Management (KAM)
* Find new customers, projects and sales opportunities within the territory
* Convert opportunities into sales and improve our sales conversion rate
Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
* Tailor messages, training and strategies to help each customer grow sales of Raytec
* Attract new customers to Raytec
* Train customers on Raytec products and applications
* Build the value and quality of the sales pipeline
* Understand individual customer needs and address those with Raytec solutions
* Overcome sales objections
* Visit new and prospective customers, tradeshows and events within the territory when required
Person Specification
* Experience of working in business-to-business sales (min 3-4 years)
* A proven track record of business development and sales success
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to thoroughly understand Raytec's core technology and explain it in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to listen, identify a customers needs, and tailor your proposal accordingly
* Ability to negotiate with staff at all levels of an organisation
