Supporting the growth and success of the Company by being part of the Green Tunnels team. Carrying out a range of duties in the hands-on production of concrete for Green Tunnels elements.
This role is a full time position.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitoring the performance of the batching plant to ensure supply of mixes consistently within specification.
* Ensuring batching plant suitability maintained including routine inspections of production machinery planning of preventative maintenance actions.
* Transporting materials around the site.
* Minimising waste & maximising quality of products.
* Reporting any defects to line management.
* Ensuring excellent housekeeping standards in line with site safety requirements.
* Ensuring all HSQE requirements are complied with.
* Operating mobile plant when necessary.
* Assisting production teams to achieve daily production targets.
Key experience, qualifications and skills:
* Ability to drive Wheeled Bucket Loader and Forklift Truck (valid Licence).
* Reasonable standard of secondary education.
* Reasonable standard of spoken and written English, demonstrable capability to read and understand notices and signage to ensure safe working.
* Minimum basic safety training.
* Satisfy the role requirements in the GT Production Skills & Competencies Matrix.
* Preferred experience in concrete/pre-cast sector, construction materials or construction sector generally.
* Previous experience of working in a concrete batching plant would be ideal.
* Knowledge of Company policies, procedures and practices as applies to the role, employment and the minimum standards of behaviour expected from the job holder in relation to:
