Humly North East are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join one of our partnership schools in Newcastle (NE4). Knowledge and experience across all of the science topics will be required. You will need to be passionate about Science and have a desire to make a real difference to students' lives. You will be able to plan and deliver interesting and stimulating lessons for both KS3 and KS4 students, setting a level of challenge for all abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing teaching materials, set up the classroom and organise displays
* plan and teach lessons and work with small groups of students
* mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress
* manage the work of any teaching assistants in class
* follow safeguarding procedures and work with careers advisers, counsellors, education psychologists and social workers when required
