Clements Grey has engaged with a key client based in Peterborough a contract manufacturer across multiple sectors including Automotive, Aerospace, Medical and FMCG. They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join their team as a Procurement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of our supply base, ensuring the procurement of materials and consumables at the best total cost price while maintaining our competitiveness and performance in the market.
Conduct value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements to optimise procurement processes.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, ensuring that business requirements are understood, met, and regularly evaluated for performance.
Lead the procurement team across multiple locations, fostering a culture of efficiency and effectiveness to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Participate in new product introduction projects, providing procurement expertise to support company growth.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier performance.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in procurement.
