Are you our new Senior Financial Accountant?
As a Senior Financial Accountant at Intrum in Manchester combined with hybrid working you will play a crucial role in the UK Financial control team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the industry leading provider of credit managed services.
This position is ideal for someone seeking a role that combines technical accounting and reporting. The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to the UK Financial Controller and Financial Director. The goal is to enhance the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of month-end and statutory reporting across the UK business and into the Board.
What you will do:
1. Manage a broad range of accounting activities, collaborating with Finance Operations and our Centre of Excellence. This ensures the delivery of consolidated results to Intrum Group and other key stakeholders.
2. Responsible for producing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations. Involves large-scale data manipulation, identifying issues, and collaborating with foreign subsidiaries to resolve discrepancies.
3. Active involvement in both year-end and quarter-end accounting processes for the Group parent.
4. Prepare financial statements (FS) and supporting schedules for auditors. Liaise with the audit team to manage all queries accurately and promptly.
5. Provide relevant reporting and insights to the wider Finance team as needed.
