Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join their Technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business who are investing in their business.For this role we are seeking a candidate with an Engineering degree, and 1 year min experience post-study. Hours:Monday to Friday8.30am-5pmAbout the role:Reporting to the Senior Process Improvement Engineer, your day to day will focus on driving efficient production against the specified KPI’s. This will involve a healthy balance between desk work (data analysis, root cause analysis, training, audits, writing report, SOP’s etc) and providing leadership / driving change to the operators on the line.Graduate Process Improvement Engineer – Summary of daily duties:Daily monitoring of process and quality dataDrive TPM and NPD meetingConduct root cause analysis using lean six sigma principlesAbility to gather, analyse and interpret dataConduct trials and provide direction with meaningful dataWrite technical trial reportsAbility to learn and optimise equipment using dataConduct mass balances and yield analysisSeek out areas for process improvement/ cost reductionEstablish and present the business case of proven performance lossesConduct cost benefit analysisProvide support/leadership on site projectsProvide leadership and support to team members and production teamsReview, update and write technical SOP’sImplement, embed and validate new practices and process changes.Conduct /support customer complaint investigations.Cooperate and promote culture change in H&S, environment and quality areas.Required skills, knowledge & experience:We’re seeking a candidate with an Engineering degree, with at least one year experience post-study, in a similar role within a production / manufacturing environment. Ideally experience of leading projects and examples of process improvements.
