Elevation Recruitment Group are thrilled to be working with a thriving business based in Huddersfield to recruit a Credit Controller / Sales Ledger to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
End to End Credit Control / Sales Ledger management
Contact clients / internal contacts for collecting debts of the company
Raising invoices, implementing best practice
Managing credit insurance
Nominal coding / Journals
Assisting with legal action
Ensuring appropriate prioritisation techniques & timely follow up on all outstanding debts
Full ownership of your assigned portfolio, driving resolutions and escalations
Driving cash flow & targets by strong portfolio management & relationship building
Skills & Experience:
Demonstrable End to End Credit Control / Sales Ledger experience
High volume experience
Strong communication skills
CICM qualified (preferred, not essential)
Excellent interpersonal & team work skills cultivating long term relationships at all levels of own & customer's organisation
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment demonstrating success at reducing aged debts & improving metrics
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Salary is between £27k - £29k depending on experience, with hybrid working options available (4 Days Office, Fridays WFH)
