Position Overview: As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge products and systems. You will work closely to create innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations and drive the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilize 3D CAD and other design software to conceptualize, model, and detail mechanical components and systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
* Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate design concepts and optimize performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for prototyping, testing, and production.
* Participate in design reviews, provide technical expertise, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in mechanical design, with a mechanically biased qualification
* Proficiency in CAD software, with an understanding of 3D modelling, drafting.
* Familiarity with engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
