The Role
We are looking for someone energetic to join the team. A role which combines your passions of all things marketing & food.
You will be a can-do experienced all-round Junior Brand Manager joining our small but fun Comptoir Group marketing team. A blend of creative thinking, strategic acumen, and project management skills to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support overall business growth.
As an all-round Junior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branding, including our CRM programme, promotional development, campaign execution, data insights, menu management, cross-functional collaboration, trade marketing, social, events and everything in between.
Responsibilities:
Brand Promotional Strategy and Planning:
* Develop and execute comprehensive brand promo strategies both tactical and hero campaigns with a 360 approach that align with the company’s goals and target audience
* Create a cohesive promotional plan to include guest comms and restaurant implementation, supported by messaging that resonates with our guests and tailored to our tribes
* Take full ownership of our guest database and develops personalised & relevant automations to drive first & subsequent visits as well as referrals
* Create initiatives / added value promotions to drive our spend per head, and increase the footfall to our restaurants
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify both opportunities and threats
* Finds suitable third party’s to help drive our awareness or our brand and encourage their audiences to come to our venues. This includes influencers, venues, partner brands, bloggers, press, shopping centres, landlords with customer facing communications etc.
Campaign Management:
* Conceptualize, plan, and oversee the implementation of tactical marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (digital, traditional, social media, etc.)
* Collaborate with designers to ensure consistent messaging and visuals in all campaigns
* Analyse campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with internal teams (ops, GMs, chefs, finance, design, etc.) to integrate brand strategies into various aspects of the business
* Collaborate with external partners, agencies, local partners etc. to execute branding initiatives effectively and create local marketing plans for our restaurants where required
Data analysis & Insight:
* Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and refine branding strategies over time
* Make sure we have our fingers on the pulse of what guests think and feel
* Monitor brand health and awareness, and implement improvements based on research findings
* Work alongside others in the marketing team to fully embrace the Comptoir tribes and integrate into GX journey and offer personalised offerings and comms
Content Development:
* Identify opportunities & oversee our digital agency in the development of engaging, high-quality content that aligns with brand messaging across different platforms working alongside a digital agency
* Ensure content is relevant, consistent, and resonates with the different target audiences.
* Keep all digital channels updated including our websites. Build and send all brand communications to our database and proactively manage our CRM system
Budget Management:
* Manage the brand-related budget effectively, allocating resources to various initiatives and campaigns
* Monitor expenses and ensure that campaigns deliver a strong return on investment
Requirements:
Musts
* Proven experience (3-4 years) in brand management, marketing, or related roles
* Can do aptitude first and foremost – self motivated / can work on own as well as with others
* Good at understanding & managing Guest journeys / use of CRM systems
* Excellent proven project management and organizational skills
* Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
* Data-driven mindset and analytical skills
