Responsibilities of this Head of MFL role include:
To lead a team of staff in the delivery of the MFL Curriculum so that it engages, enthuses, motivates, and enables pupils to progress
Line management of departmental staff – foster an open and equitable culture and manage conflict (if applicable)
To collaboratively plan and prepare effective teaching schemes and lessons within the context of the school curriculum
To use regular assessments to set targets for pupils, monitor pupil progress towards individual targets and respond accordingly to the results of such monitoring.
To fully implement all school policies for creating a culture of high expectations
