*BP Rolls Group* are looking for a qualified vehicle body builder who has experience in repairing commercial vehicles, to join our talented team of technicians.Based at our Headquarters in Andover.We have an increased demand of vehicles coming into the Commercial Vehicle workshop. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills developed in a Vehicle body building career and capability to work effectively in an environment with pace and productivity.If you can deliver high-quality workmanship and would like the opportunity to work on the fleets of some of the biggest brands in the country then this is a superb opportunity.*Responsibilities & Duties** To complete vehicle body repairs to a high standard within agreed efficiencies of time and budget* Building and repair of commercial vehicle bodies, ready for re- paint and return to customer.* Welding of metal work as required, cleaning and smoothing of welding work.* Cutting, bending, fitting and assembling components using hand tools and portable power tools.* Ensure the surrounding work area is a safe environment, complying with site specific health and safety rules and regulations*Person Specification*You will need to have served a recognised apprenticeship or gained a technical qualification, with at least 2-3 years demonstrable expertise in Vehicle body building.* Qualified vehicle body builder with min 2-3 years’ experience in the role* Team player, with the confidence to work independently and to a high standard* Hold a valid UK driver’s license* Organised with excellent time management and ability to work well under pressure.
