Job Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements
* Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested.
* Oversee and manage individual accounts
* Processing and reconsolidating customer invoices and payments received.
* Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
* Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable role
* Understanding of data privacy standards
* Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
* Strong understanding of business principles and practices
* Attention to detail
* Organisational, planning and time management skills
* Ability to communicate effectively
