The Senior Hire Controller is a crucial role within the depot management structure as you will support the Depot Manager in leading and motivating an operational team to deliver on customer expectations in line with company goals, values, SHEQ, and quality guidelines. 1. Support the Depot Manager in maintaining current business processes and systems and continually improve procedures to maximise operating efficiency.
2. Ensuring high service standards by managing daily hire desk operations
3. Review and share depot performance data with the depot manager to ensure operational productivity and depot performance.
4. Supporting the depot manager in the achievement of operational productivity, quality and SHEQ targets.
5. Deputise for the Depot Manager in their absence.
6. Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
7. Monitor staff performance through appraisals, performance reviews, and setting personal development plans to develop staff and maximise talent potential.
8. Attend regular meetings with the depot manager and Regional Operations Manager.
