The business specialise in bespoke machinery for a number of different industries, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for their clients.
As an R&D Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of next-generation machinery and equipment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, test and prototype solutions that push the boundaries of technology.
Responsibilities of an R&D Engineer:
* Conducting research to identify emerging technologies and industry trends.
* Designing and developing prototypes using CAD software and other tools.
* Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate new technologies into existing products.
* Conducting performance tests and analysing data to optimise machinery efficiency.
* To provide technical support for live development projects, driving concepts and solutions to final product launch
* Produce and execute thorough test plans
* Working collaboratively with other internal teams to create concept and detailed technical solutions
Requirements of an R&D Engineer:
* A qualification in Engineering (Degree/HNC/HND)
* Proven experience in research and development within a manufacturing environment (at least 2 years)
* Proficiency in 3D CAD Software
* Strong analytical and Problem solving skills
