We are currently looking for aLearning & Development Facilitator to promote a learning culture inHC-One through mentoring, coaching and professional bestpractice.
Your main responsibilities willinclude:
Facilitating the provision of a flexible and plannedprogramme of workshops and coaching that is consistent, high qualitylearning and development to colleagues allocated in a specific area,driving compliance, competency, skills and practice through HC-One’sbespoke e-learning management system“touchstone”.
Participating in the development of HC-One L&Dprogrammes, constantly reviewing and revising the outcomes throughlearner feedback.
Tracking, coaching and supportingspecialist in-house trainers, e.g. Safer People Handling Coaches,Falls teams, etc., highlighting to the team where there are vacanciesor risks.
Building effective working relationships with otherteams across the business to deliver touch in an effective andengaging manner, supporting cross area as required orrequested.
Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in onespecialist area and ensuring that resources are up to date, relevantand there are effective tools for training.
Supporting themapping, design and development of new programmes in a blended style,ensuring consistent, flexible and creative delivery methods areutilised.
Providing advice, support, mentoring, coaching andtraining to the in-house trainers and touch ambassadors, Home Managersand team leaders.
Effectively using touchstone learningmanagement system to analyse training requirements and produce reportsas requested, acting in areas of need.
This role will involveregular travel and occasional overnight stays.
Essentialcriteria:
•
PTTLS or equivalent award/qualificationin Education and or Training
•
NVQ/Diploma minimumLevel 3 or equivalent qualification
•
Understandingof the care sector regulatory environment in the UK would beadvantageous
•
Training experience, preferably in ahealthcare environment.
•
Experience ofcommunicating at a senior level.
•
Experience ofworking in a highly-compliant led organisation.
Safeguardingis everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that youare able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse,harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if thereare any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguardingtraining appropriate to their role and to undertake additionaltraining in associated areas. You also have the ability to seekappropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if actionis not taken.
