The Rectory Hotel is an award winning boutique hotel & restaurant in the Cotswold village of Crudwell, near Malmesbury, with a sister restaurant, The Potting Shed, just across the road.
We have an excellent kitchen team, and have recently been joined by head chef Jake Simpson, formerly longstanding head chef of Bocca di Lupo in London, and we are in the process of developing our food offering.
Our menu is focused on modern British food, in tune with both the local and the seasons, with a dash of excitement from further afield. We use exceptional ingredients, from local game to the best Italian olive oil.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced chef de partie to join the team, and help us drive things forward. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar restaurant, be interested in producing great food from the ground up (from in-house butchery to home-made ice creams), and be keen to be part of a growing team. Experience is desirable, but willingness to learn, a strong work ethic and a passion for outstanding food is essential.
The role is full-time and salaried but we can be flexible regarding days off, and can offer either a 4 or 5 day working week.
