Junior Project Manager (PLC Programming Experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Project Manager with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating projects related to wind energy systems, with a focus on PLC programming and automation.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior project managers to plan, execute, and monitor wind energy projects from initiation to completion.
* Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project objectives and deadlines.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Utilize PLC programming skills to design, develop, and implement automation solutions for wind turbine control systems.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address project challenges and uncertainties.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and take proactive measures to resolve them.
* Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and areas for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance metrics and identifying opportunities for optimization.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in wind energy and PLC programming to drive innovation and efficiency.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications is a bonus.
* Proven experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
* Strong understanding of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and experience with PLC hardware/software (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
* Familiarity with automation systems, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) software.
* Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
