Job Title: Key Account Manager
Location: Field-based (Some national travel) and Stourport office based
£37K + quarterly bonus (£7500) + car/allowance (circa 50K package)
Job Purpose:
Manage a portfolio of 30 upper-tier accounts, preventing erosion, and driving growth through strategic development and cross-selling. Occasional travel may be required.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
* Develop and execute a business plan aligned with organisational goals.
Contract Management:
* Renegotiate lapsed contracts and establish new agreements.
Strategic Development:
* Implement strategies with the After Sales Manager for new services and products.
Account Reviews and Projects:
* Conduct strategic reviews for growth and profitability.
* Manage project delivery within agreed timelines.
Communication and Negotiation:
* Utilise effective presentation, negotiation, and influence skills.
* Address client concerns and manage escalated calls.
Compliance and Database Management:
* Assist with compliance activities, such as supplier waste audits.
* Oversee key accounts to optimise contract revenue.
Reporting and Targets:
* Provide regular reports to the manager on sales activities and key client advancements.
* Achieve individual quarterly sales targets.
Client Satisfaction and Collaboration:
