With learning support and on the job experience, you are in control of how quickly you could be working as an Adviser. You would work alongside 3 very experienced advisers and a trainee with a mentor programme in place. There is no need to travel to see clients, as all face-to-face meetings can be held in our fully equipped meeting rooms.Duties and Responsibilities:Your duties will include but not be limited to:Shadowing financial advisersWorking closely with the administration team to help gather policy informationHelp with projects: for example, Mifid annual reviews, other client campaigns, annual portfolio rebalancesHelp Advisers writing reports: e.g. Annual review letters, client suitability reportGeneral admin supportSpeaking directly to clients and carrying out client reviewsRelationship buildingGenerating and converting opportunities into businessThe Ideal Employee:Relevant Skills/ExperienceMust have been studying for exams towards being an IFA/or fully qualifiedMay already have some financial services industry experience and wants to move on (e.g. paraplanner or advisor support)Degree holderGood with excel, word etcKeen to quickly work through the ranks by working hardGood communication skills: phone, face to face, and writtenDemonstrate initiativeEntrepreneurialHold a driving licenseTeam playerExperience with back-office systems such as X-Plan or similar, FE Analytics, Cashcalc and provider platformsStrong technical knowledge around pensions, investments and IHT planningRelevant examinationsSales experienceExperience required: At least 1-year financial services experience.Qualifications required: Must have been studying for exams towards being an IFA/or fully qualified.
