Sales Manager

My client is a renowned Specialist Service Provider, seeking a proven Sales Manager to lead the successful Sales Team. As the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations and people management of the Sales function. This role requires a successful sales professional with a track record of driving impressive sales and business growth through strategic planning and execution. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Sales Director, you will be a key member of the Senior Management team.
Day to Day of the Role:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and exceed annual sales targets.
* Follow up on leads promptly and close orders within the required timeframe.
* Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to the sales team.
* Learn and master any outstanding specialism areas within a set timeframe.
* Implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research.
* Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless project execution.
* Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective lead generation and conversion.
* Conduct site surveys and ensure the CRM system is accurately maintained by the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Technical Sales/Semiconductor industry.
* Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or warehousing environment preferred.
* Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional phone manner.
* Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach.
* Comfortable working autonomously and technically minded.
* Demonstrable understanding of industry/customer standards and best practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Dynamics being desirable.
