Flexible location across the UK, expectation to travel across the country*
Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing, this role will be a blend of administration/co-ordination but also research, design and delivery of key Occupational Health and Wellbeing programmes acrossour client's groups. The role will require the successful candidate to work closely with key internal stakeholders such as HR, Health and Safety and our project-based teams, and also external stakeholders such as our occupational health service partners in Ireland and the UK.
This role is a one-year contract to cover maternity leave. It is full-time and based in the UK. Flexibility required in travelling to other locations across the UK, but there may also be requirements to travel to Ireland and mainland Europe on occasion. An excellent opportunity for a motivated, energetic and passionate candidate to develop their skills and experience in the field of occupational health and wellbeing and to be a key part of building a “best in class” occupational health and wellbeing function within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Administration and coordination of various initiatives, including intoxicants testing, health screening, flu vaccination programmes, safety critical worker medicals etc.
* Research, design and delivery of effective health protection programmes to address construction-related hazards such as noise, vibration, chemicals, dusts ...
