Purpose of the Employee Benefits Administrator role:
To support employers and their employees with all elements of their benefits and personal finance. Delivering first class, proactive service for all clients.
If you have ever joined an external Pension Scheme via your employer, you are likely to not have spoken to anyone about the 'ins and outs' of the scheme or fully understood what you are signing up for. Well, this Financial Advisor / Pensions business do things differently and they are seeking a skilled administrator to manage the new client Pension onboarding process, as part of the Employee Benefits team.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in financial services and financial planning.
Day to day:
* Processing of client, provider and adviser queries by email, letter and phone.
* Pension Scheme joiner processing
* Processing Letters of Authority from clients
* Handling the Pension Transfer process
* Processing of Group Personal Pension monthly contributions
* Communicate with existing and former clients, providers and advisers via e-mail, letter and phone
* Managing questions, onboarding and issuing information on flexible benefits.
To fulfil this role it is likely that you will have :
* Minimum 2 years working experience of Group Personal Pensions and/or Personal Pensions
* Comprehensive understanding of Auto Enrolmentlegislation
* Comprehensive understanding of Net, Salary Sacrificeand Tax for pension contributions
* Basic understanding of core employee benefits such as Life assurance, income protection, and private medical insurance
If you have or are studying toward CII then even better - but this is not an essential requirement.
