Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment required for civil engineering projects.
* Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
* Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimisation and risk mitigation.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
* Provide support in procurement activities, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
* Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts in compliance with contractual requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects.
* Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in quantity surveying and construction industry.
