There is an immediate opportunity for a Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent FD to join a rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial owner managed SME Manufacturing and Distribution business headquartered in Scunthorpe.
Due to recent changes and exciting growth plans, this is initially an interim role with potential for longer term / permanent.
The remit initially is to conduct a review of the impact and value add of Finance across the business with a focus on developing the Financial reporting and ensuring systems are providing robust and relevant Mi to ensure the business is able to keep up to rapidly increasing demand, while ensuring the correct processes are in place across the wider business creating accountability across all areas of the business.
Working very closely with the business owner, this role will play a significant part in the strategic direction of the organisation while maintaining a strong hold on the financials including the cash position.
The role will take responsibility for:
* The entire finance function including reporting and management of the team of 2
* Management of the invoice financing
* Forex and shipping cost management
* Review of current reporting policies and procedures
* Implementation of systems and policies as required.
* Liaison with the banks
* Contracts negotiation
* Provision of Financial expertise across the organisation
