A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm working 3 days from home and 2 days in the office. Paying between £32,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key duties include but are not limited to:
* Complete month end journals.
* Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are ready for review.
* Vat and Duty reconciliation.
* IFRS16 leases reconciliation.
* Fixed Assets Accounting & Prepayments.
* Assist with preparation of monthly accounts packs.
* Complete the monthly Internal Audit process to review stage.
* Assist with audit preparation.
* Assist and manage company projects.
* Maintain and develop good working relationships with internal and external customers.
* Any other duties as required.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Assistant Management Accountant position:
* Accountancy qualification: ACA, CIMA or ACCA part/fully qualified
* Excellent excel skills.
* 3+ years’ experience within a similar role
