Our Visual Merchandising team are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to specialise in Harrods Airport stores across Heathrow and Gatwick.
This role plays a key role in sharing the magic of Harrods at our airport locations. The position calls for an individual who has a passion for cross-category merchandising, covering multiple categories including Womenswear, Menswear and Childrenswear, Accessories, Food and Harrods Own Label.
The role is based 3-4 days per week at Heathrow, 1-2 days at Knightsbridge and Gatwick once per month
About the Role
In this role you will work closely with the Knightsbridge VM team to generate and deliver creative schemes that ensure consistency across locations. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Harrods own label and fashion divisions.
In this role, you will:
* Dress and install displays across multiple categories, reflecting the Harrods brand and presenting the brand as masters of luxury, experts of the exceptional, and creators of magic.
* Understand and represent the varying needs of the travel retail consumer ensuring that this is reflected in all creative decision making across the varying stores
* Attend regular floor walks with the teams to identify and react to the needs of the site and the business.
* Translate research and trend reports into mood boards and design ideas to style, build outfits, select appropriate products to appropriately align with requirements and implement eye-catching product displays in order to attract and inspire customers, and elevate sale.
* Seek feedback from stakeholders on the visual impact of displays and implement any changes if required.
About You
You will ideally have experience in visual merchandising in the retail space, however more importantly is a passion for retail and elevating our partnering brands and Harrods Own Label to drive sales and continually improve product performance. You will be a self-starter, a creative person with a keen eye for fashion and have an understanding of luxury retail. You will be super organised, collaborative and diligent in your working manner.
This role will be predominately based in Heathrow and Gatwick airports, with some working time spent in Knightsbridge. You will need to live as equidistant as possible to make daily travel feasible.
