Our client, a leading company in their industry, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in Rainham, Essex. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in bringing in new business and expanding relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build new customer associations and expand existing customer relationships by selling a full range of products.
* Manage customer accounts and analyse past and current order information to identify sales opportunities.
* Work with the technical team to assist in the launch of new products.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to improve online and social media presence.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of our extensive product range and identify gaps and new trends in the marketplace.
* Represent the company at trade shows both in the UK and worldwide.
* Assist with general day-to-day business activities and ad-hoc duties.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years sales experience. Additional commercial and/or management experience is beneficial.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
3. Proactive and able to multitask in a busy working environment.
4. Highly literate and numerate.
