Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Starting Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 + Car & Package

Innotech Partners are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a well-respected and established team based in Swindon. They are recognized as the leading contractor in the area with an excellent order book and client base. Consistently achieving growth of 20 – 30% year on year, we are a forward-thinking business with extensive growth plans. They operate within a 100-mile radius of their office. Work covers multiple disciplines, including pharmaceutical, manufacturing, residential, and commercial sites, varying from £10,000 to circa £500,000.
The Package:
1. Salary up to £70,000
2. £5,000 Car allowance

Working hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The Role:
1. Receiving enquiries from clients
2. Completing an in-depth review of the enquiry extending to contractual, health and safety, logistical and technical aspects of the opportunity
3. Attending site meetings / surveys as required
4. Sending/receiving enquiries to/from suppliers & specialist sub-contractors
5. Preparing take-offs from drawings
6. Preparation of tender price
7. Presentation of tender to Director for approval prior to submittal
8. Detailed tender submission
9. Post-tender review meetings with clients
10. Detailed tender handover report to Project Delivery Team
11. Assisting in the development of colleagues such as Administrators or Junior Estimators
12. Ownership of our established estimating package
Requirements:
1. Previously worked as an Electrical Estimator for a minimum of five years and be confident working on multiple projects of various sizes and types simultaneously
2. A highly flexible attitude and willingness to deal with jobs of all types and sizes. This may include smaller works down to values of circa £10,000
3. Experienced and happy to work on pre-designed or design and build opportunities
4. Proven experience and a strong understanding of contractual elements of projects, including JCT and NEC
5. Commercially astute and willing to make decisions
6. It is important that you have worked your way up from the tools and have previously worked as an electrician. A core understanding of the practical aspects of installation are important
7. Proficient with IT systems as the company has modern processes
