We have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join a growing UK-based IT Service Provider on a permanent basis. They are a trusted provider that have built a brand with integrity, offering clients a range of support solutions including; Strategic Guidance, Cloud Services, IT Infrastructure along with tailored re-active and pro-active support services. This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days a week in the office (Surrey, near Horsham) and the rest would be remote with occasional customer site visits. 1. Configure, support and maintain hardware and software solutions for the business and its clients including Microsoft Windows (8,10 & 11) & Apple OS, Office & Microsoft365, Active Directory, Azure, physical servers, networking, SAN infrastructure, virtualised solutions, security, remote access, Disaster Recovery & backup.
2. Manage and maintain the business' proactive monitoring, ITSM and security tools, together with day-to-day management of client solutions such as Azure Backup and Site Recovery, VMware virtualised infrastructure and supporting SAN storage etc.
