SAS Programmer £ 36,000 - £53,000 depending on experience We are looking for a SAS programmer to support programming activities related to the analysis and reporting of data from clinical trials within a full-service CRO. Working within our Statistics and Data Management group, there is the opportunity to be office based or work from home. Candidate specificationEducated to degree level within a computing, science or mathematical subject2+ years' SAS programing experience, within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably Phase IExperience of CDISC standards including SDTM, aCRF, SDRG and define.xml (ADaM and TFLs and advantage)Hands-on experience manipulating data using SASExcellent written and verbal communicationA clear thinker with a logical approachHard-working with a positive attitudeAptitude for learning and developing your skill set ResponsibilitiesPlanning, developing and validating SAS programs · CDSIC SDTM mapping and programmingCreation of SDTM, SDRG, define.xml · Review and QC of CDISC related files Ad-hoc programing to support database QC and validation Data interrogation and exploratory data analysisInput into department process improvement, including creating and testing SAS macrosMaintenance of in-house programming standardsCommunication with clients and team members across departments Additional requirements· Good time management and ability to meet deadlines· Highly organised and able to take responsibility for own work· Good eye for detail· Ability to develop new skills quickly HMR is a successful London-based contract research organisation (CRO).
