Position Overview:
As a Field Engineer specialising in vertical access systems, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex access systems. This role requires a strong technical background, particularly in PLC logic and Inverters, as well as familiarity with 18th edition standards. You will be responsible for on-site operations, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute installations and maintenance tasks for vertical access systems, both on-shore and off-shore.
2. Utilise expertise in PLC logic and Inverters to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
3. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
5. Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of our systems.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of vertical access systems.
* Proficiency in PLC logic and Inverters, with a strong technical background.
* Certification in 18th edition wiring regulations.
* Willingness to travel frequently to various project sites, potentially being away from home for extended periods.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
