Job Description
A well-established and reputable client of ours is seeking a Field Service Engineer to add to their Rail business field service team.
The ideal candidate for the Field Service Engineer position will be a positive team player with a self-starter attitude and have ideally 2 or more years' experience maintaining/ repairing large commercial HVAC.
Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer
Initial preparation of work (tools, parts etc.), day to day liaison with customers and keeping accurate, concise records of work completed.
Working with the Project Management team on-site or at depots to deliver projects within the budget and on time.
Ensure that all drawings, tooling, fixtures, test equipment are fit for purpose & available prior to the commencement of a job
Identify and report new revenue opportunities and improvements within your area
Ability to solve problems and act as first point of contact, providing support and escalating if required
Strong technical expertise to enable troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills to be able to organise workload
