FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Engineer in Leeds to work for our client within the Banking sector.
The Microsoft Dynamics Engineer will have experience in Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform development. You will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for designing and building Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and Integration services across the bank so that it optimises its investment in its chosen toolset and solutions are delivered in accordance with industry best practice. You will also provide subject matter expertise on automation costs to inform procurement decisions.
You must be proactive, result oriented, technical, and able to operate under pressure in a changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop new solutions in line with the business requirements, integrating with or leveraging the surrounding Microsoft technologies including Power Platform, Teams, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and 3rd party SaaS applications.
* Maintain and support the existing Dynamics 365, Power Platform, integrations, and information databases associated with them.
* Share knowledge, experience and documentation across the development and wider IT teams.
* Provide a Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and integration escalation and decision point for Operational and Change delivery teams ensuring risks, issues and decisions are fully evaluated, captured, and addressed.
* Ensure all applications and solutions have supporting process guides and technical documentation to a high standard.
* Provide training and training material for business users and user education.
* Provide SME knowledge to design assurance and technical authority bodies to ensure design groups are considering all delivery options therefore avoiding unnecessary manual processes, duplication, and additional costs.
* Research and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to identify potential solutions and prepare proposals for modified or replacement processes and systems to ensure the Bank utilising the most effective technologies available at the appropriate cost.
* Develop effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Essential for the role:
* Demonstrable Microsoft Dynamics and Power platform development experience.
* Excellent experience of full suite of Azure Integration Services products, including Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory etc.
* Experience of Mambu SaaS cloud banking platform.
* Evident ability to translate operational requirements into robust process-oriented solutions.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to articulate solutions in a business context.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and technical resources to assist them in delivering business outcomes.
* Ability to analyse technical, operational and resource requirements and build out development plans accordingly.
* Experience of structured change delivery skills and techniques.
* Strong commitment to delivering excellent service with an attention to detail.
* Ability to lead and guide developers and business users in automation techniques and technologies.
* Ability to provide strategic, scalable solutions to meet business requirements.
Desirable for the role:
* MS Dynamics and Power Platform accreditations.
* MS Azure accreditations.
* Knowledge of Workday configuration.
* Experience of using modelling tools such as EA Sparx, BizzDesign, ErWin to capture business capabilities, processes, technology components and data structures.
* Experience of developing and maintaining strong 3rd party, vendor, and partner relationships.
* Knowledge and understanding of the business processes associated with financial services organisations.
* Understanding of broader Change Management principles, practices, and methodologies.
* Awareness of the financial services industry, markets and competitors and the associated regulatory environment.
* Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills.
* Ability to lead and motivate a small team to deliver sustained high performance.
