Our client, leading player in the business travel industry, dedicated to providing innovative solutions, is recruiting his Business Development Manager for the UK market.
The Strategic Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering strategic partnerships within the business travel sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive pipeline solution to meet revenue and margin targets. This includes proactive prospecting, nurturing long-term partnerships, and engaging with clients to convey the value proposition effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute effective prospecting and growth plans to drive revenue.
* Identify and cultivate long-term partnership opportunities.
* Engage with clients to communicate value propositions persuasively and succinctly.
* Continuously improve prospect quality and revenue performance.
* Target customers in the UK, Europe, and globally.
* Implement Digital 1st strategy, including Online Booking and Workflow Solutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling solutions.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications and skills :
Proven ability to drive business performance and deliver successful customer solutions, demonstrating a track record of achievement.
Strong commercial focus, capable of leading success across a diverse portfolio while exceeding key performance indicators.
Strategic thinker with excellent organizational, communication, and influencing skills, coupled with proficiency in MS Office suite and consultative business development experience.
Previous experience in the travel industry and working across cultures or with remote teams.
Familiarity with Salesforce, public sector experience, and proficiency in foreign languages such as French, German, Italian, or Dutch are advantageous.
Salary : up to 50 000 pounds growth per year with a 10% yearly bonus (uncapped).
