Our client is looking for a Water Safety Engineer/Contracts Manager to start work on projects based around Brighton & Hove, this is a 6 month PAYE contract starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct essential safety checks and manage specialist contracts (e.g., Water L8, Legionella Control).
* Oversee the system replacement programme to ensure effective operation and compliance.
* Manage technical and customer communications to maintain water safety and system efficacy.
* Address the needs of tenants, leaseholders, and their representatives while maintaining performance standards and budget.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in water safety engineering or related field.
* In-depth knowledge of ACOP and relevant water safety regulations.
* Ability to manage multiple contracts and adapt to additional responsibilities if required.
Urgent Requirement: This role is critical to meet compliance and manage increased workload due to the current Building Services Manager's sick leave. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing requests from the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and ensuring the safety of our residents and staff.
