Your mission:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fraud Analyst to join our Global Care Team. As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organisation against fraudulent activities while ensuring a seamless and secure customer and partner experience. You will be responsible for analysing user and partner transactions, identifying potential fraudulent patterns, and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks effectively.
Your role:
* Fraud Detection and Analysis:
* Utilise various tools, technologies, and techniques to monitor and analyse customer transactions for potential fraud indicators both internally and externally.
* Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious activities and assess their legitimacy promptly.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging fraud trends
* Design and implement proactive measures to prevent fraudulent activities and unauthorised access to customer and partner accounts.
* Develop security protocols, governance, and process; suggest improvements to enhance the overall fraud prevention strategy.
* Perform in-depth reviews of high-risk transactions and customer accounts to validate their authenticity.
* Reporting and Documentation:
* Prepare and present regular reports on fraud-related metrics, trends, and activities to relevant stakeholders and management.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of fraud cases, investigations, and outcomes.
* Collaboration and Training:
* Work closely with Customer Experience teams to share insights, best practices, and fraud prevention techniques.
* Provide training and guidance to customer-facing teams on fraud identification and escalation procedures.
* Compliance and Legal Adherence:
* Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements related to fraud prevention and customer data protection.
* Collaborate with the legal team to address fraud-related issues in alignment with company policies and applicable laws.
Requirements:
* You possess proven experience as a Fraud Analyst or in a similar role within e-commerce, marketplace or technology sectors.
* You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns or anomalies
* You feel confident using advanced Excel. Experience using SQL will be a plus!
* You are familiar with fraud detection processes and tools.
* You are detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in investigating and resolving fraud cases.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
* You are fully proficient in English and have excellent communication skills
* You are based in London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Madrid, Milan or Berlin.
* You possess a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
