Limax Studios is a unique and fast-growing company predominantly specialising in Social Media Production, also boasting a varied property portfolio. We are looking to hire a finance manager to take full control of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Planning and Analysis:
* Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
* Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Financial Reporting:
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and trends.
* Cash Flow Management:
* Monitor cash flow projections and maintain liquidity to meet operational needs.
* Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks.
Risk Management:
* Assess financial risks and implement appropriate controls to mitigate them.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization's financial position.
Financial Operations:
* Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
* Streamline financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, financial analysis, or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in Google Workspace particularly Google Sheets, and experience with Xero accounting software
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the media production or property investment industry is a plus.
Proposed start date - ASAP
Hours - Part time - Flexible on hours/days.
Pay and benefits - Up to £25,000 per annum.
Location - Office based, Guildford, Surrey
