Job Title: Administration/Business Support Officer
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administration/Business Support Officer to join our team and provide essential support to our service/directorate. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of administrative tasks and assist in working towards the objectives of the service area. This role requires both general business support and specialized duties, encompassing tasks such as record maintenance, financial processing, IT tasks, and team assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
General Business Support:
· Assist in organizing and providing business support, including maintaining records, organizing meetings, and responding to queries.
· Manage office systems, equipment, and consumables in accordance with purchasing procedures.
· Maintain manual and computerized records/management information systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
· Provide advice, guidance, and signposting on internal policies/procedures and external regulations/legislation.
· Undertake complex IT tasks as required.
Specialist Duties:
· Demonstrate duties to less experienced employees and contribute to their training and development.
· Handle financial processing activities, including monitoring budgets, processing orders, and invoices, and reconciling petty cash.
