Celino’s, a multi award winning Italian Delicatessen & Restaurant and much-loved resident of Alexandra Parade since 1982, is looking for a passionate, dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager.
Based in the east end, approximately 2 miles from the city centre, Celino’s is a very busy 40 seat trattoria, operating alongside our Deli, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week…a bustling café atmosphere during the day easing into a relaxed restaurant feel in the evening.
Our focus is on providing our customers with a fantastic experience by providing the highest quality Italian food and excellent customer service in relaxed, welcoming surroundings.

Responsibilities
You will be expected to ensure the smooth operation of front of house activities, maintain high standards of service and contribute to the overall success of Celino’s.
Provide exceptional customer experience
Ensure the highest standards of service
Engage with customers and solve problems promptly in a calm manner
Achieve and maintain a warm and welcoming restaurant ambience
Evaluate feedback, devise and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
Excellent Leadership & Teamworking
Lead, motivate and inspire the front of house team
Delegate tasks effectively and demonstrate ability to manage rotas
Provide ongoing feedback, training and development opportunities for team members
Collaborate with the kitchen & deli teams to ensure seamless service
Performance Management & Compliance
Monitor and report on key performance indicators
Meet and exceed financial targets through effective sales and cost management
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards (front of house)
Requirements
Essential
· At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality role
· At least 1 year experience of management role in busy restaurant
· Proven leadership abilities, able to motivate and inspire a diverse team
· Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
· Proven ability to thrive in a busy, high pressure environment
· Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays as required
Preferred
· Experience of working in Italian restaurant and/or strong knowledge of Italian food
· Food hygiene and safety certification
· Personal License Holder

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
