We have an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager looking to expand their career within a family run contractor based in Guernsey. This fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of impressive schemes including High-end residential ranging between £200K - £20M.
Utilising your previous experience as Health & Safety Manager along with your NEBOSH and knowledge of Health & Safety & ACOPS. You will be the number one Health & Safety Manager throughout the business, reporting directly to the Construction Director & Managing director.
Duties include:
* Training of H&S practices to employees throughout the business.
* Risk assessments to reduce risks across sites and record in correct company procedure.
* Provide H&S guidance to the management team and board of directors.
* Produce and roll out H&S campaigns to promote awareness of site safety.
* Maintain relevant relationships with both clients and H&S executives.
* Carry out compliance audits across the business.
Personal Attributes:
* Previous experience at H&S Management level.
* Industry experience within either a construction or civil engineering contractor.
* Strong leaderships skills.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
